What fabrics does Velure use?

Velure uses two primary fabric families. The Cotton Collection is made from 100% pure cotton that is breathable, sweat-absorbent, and ideal for India's warm and humid climate. The Satin Collection features smooth, lustrous satin with temperature-regulating properties for a cool, silky feel — available with luxe fur detailing in select Night Suits and Robe Sets.

Is satin nightwear suitable for Indian weather?

Yes. Velure's satin is lighter and more breathable than commonly assumed. The smooth surface allows air to flow across the skin without trapping heat. Many customers across India wear our satin nightwear year-round. If you sleep with air conditioning, satin is an especially luxurious choice. For peak summer without AC, our Cotton Collection is the ideal pick.

What is the difference between a Night Suit and a Pajama Set?

Night Suits feature a collar-neck, button-front shirt paired with full-length pants — a classic, polished silhouette, often in satin or fur-trimmed satin. Pajama Sets are more relaxed — a soft top with drawstring or elastic-waist pants, leaning more casual and great for everyday wear in cotton or satin.

What is the Luxe Edit collection?

SIZING & FIT

What sizes does Velure offer?

Velure offers an inclusive size range from XS to XXL, based on Indian body measurements. Our sizing is designed to accommodate a variety of body types, with relaxed fits and elastic waistbands on most styles.

How do I find my correct size?

Each product page includes a detailed size chart with bust, waist, and hip measurements in centimeters. We recommend taking your measurements and comparing them to the chart rather than going by your usual western size. When in doubt between two sizes, size up — our nightwear is designed to feel relaxed and comfortable.

Do the pants fit well around the hips? 

Yes. Our pants use elastic waistbands and relaxed cuts, designed to sit comfortably at the waist without being tight around the hips or thighs. If you carry more volume around the hips, we suggest sizing up for the most comfortable fit.

Is Velure nightwear suitable for plus-size women?

Yes. Velure's nightwear is designed to be comfortable and flattering across all body shapes. Our XXL sizes and relaxed-fit styles are built to accommodate a range of figures. We also offer customization — if you need a size beyond our standard range, contact us and we'll do our best to help.

I'm buying as a gift and don't know the recipient's size — what should I do?

We recommend gifting a size M or L for most women, as these cover the widest range of Indian body types. We also offer exchanges, so if the size doesn't fit, the recipient can swap it within 7 days of delivery.

ORDERS & PAYMENT

Is Cash on Delivery (COD) available?

Yes, Cash on Delivery is available across most Indian pin codes, subject to serviceability. You can check COD availability for your location at checkout. Prepaid orders receive an extra 5% discount, so paying online is always a better deal.

What payment methods does Velure accept?

Velure accepts UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), Debit and Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), Net Banking, EMI on eligible cards, Digital Wallets, and Cash on Delivery. All transactions are processed securely.

How do I apply a discount or coupon code?

At checkout, enter your code in the "Discount code" field on the order summary page and click Apply before completing your purchase. Codes cannot be applied after an order is placed.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Orders can be modified or cancelled before they are dispatched. Please contact us immediately after placing your order if you need to make changes. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled, but you may initiate a return once it is delivered.

Is it safe to pay on velure.in?

Yes. Velure's website is powered by Shopify, one of the world's most secure e-commerce platforms. All payment information is SSL-encrypted and we do not store your card details.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Is shipping free?

Yes, Velure offers free shipping on all orders across India.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery across India typically takes 3–7 working days from the date of dispatch. Metro cities usually receive orders within 3–4 days, while tier-2 and tier-3 cities may take up to 7 days. You'll receive a tracking link via SMS or email once your order is dispatched.

Which courier partners does Velure use?

Velure ships through Delhivery, Bluedart, and India Post. The courier assigned to your order depends on your pin code and the fastest available service for your location.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number via SMS and/or email. You can use this to track your delivery on the courier partner's website, or log in to your Velure account to view your order status.

Does Velure ship outside India?

Currently, Velure primarily ships across India. For international shipping enquiries, please contact our team and we'll let you know if delivery to your country is possible.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

What is Velure's return and exchange policy?

Velure offers a 7-day return and exchange window from the date of delivery. Items must be unused, unwashed, in their original packaging with all tags intact.

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

Contact our support team within 7 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return. Our team will guide you through the process and arrange pickup where available.

How long does a refund take?

Once your returned item is received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 working days, credited back to your original payment method. COD orders are refunded via bank transfer.

What if I receive a damaged or incorrect product?

Please contact us immediately with your order number and photos of the item. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. We recommend recording an unboxing video for all orders as it helps us resolve such cases faster.

Can I exchange for a different style or colour?

Yes, exchanges are accepted for a different size, colour, or style subject to stock availability. Please initiate your exchange within 7 days of delivery. If the item you want is priced differently, the difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.

CARE & CUSTOMISATION

How do I wash and care for my Velure nightwear?

For cotton pieces, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low or air dry, and avoid bleach. For satin and fur pieces, gentle machine wash in a laundry bag or hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Do not wring. Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Avoid ironing satin directly — use a cloth barrier or steam instead.

Will the fur on satin night suits shed after washing?

No. Velure's fur trims are designed to be durable and wash-resistant. To further protect the fur, we recommend washing inside a mesh laundry bag on a gentle cycle.

Does Velure offer customization?

Yes. Velure offers embroidery and monogramming on select pieces — perfect for personalized gifting, bridal trousseaus, and special occasions. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
